Yerevan City Tour & Evening Promenade
Vernissage Market, Tsitsernakaberd & The Cascade, Yerevan
$80 for 1 guests + $5/extra guest
About Yerevan City Tour & Evening Promenade
Yerevan is a city best understood in layers, from its
neoclassical pink-tuff core to the Soviet brutalist landmarks that punctuate
its skyline. We start where the city administers itself, at Republic Square,
then wander through the sensory overload of Vernissage market and the GUM food
hall before climbing to Tsitsernakaberd's quiet memorial hill. The afternoon
opens up at Victory Park, where Mother Armenia watches over the valley and
Ararat beyond it. As the light softens, we set out on foot up the Cascade's
sculpture-lined staircase, past Freedom Square, and down Northern Avenue for
the evening's Singing Fountains.
