About Nature's Trio: Tsaghkadzor, Lake Sevan & Dilijan
If Armenia had a greatest hits tour for nature lovers, this would be it. In a single day you ride a cable car up an alpine resort mountain, stand beside a high altitude lake the color of turquoise, and end the afternoon wrapped in the misty, humid forests of Dilijan. We begin in Tsaghkadzor, Armenia's premier ski town in winter and a green mountain retreat in summer, before descending to Lake Sevan and its iconic clifftop monastery. From there we pass through a long tunnel into an entirely different Armenia, dense oak and beech forest, restored 19th century streets, a quiet forest lake, a red deer conservation center, and a monastery so hidden in the trees it feels like something out of a fairytale.
