About 2-Day Southern Armenia Discovery

Southern Armenia unfolds in two very different registers over these two days. We begin in the Ararat Valley at Khor Virap, the pilgrimage site framed by the mountain itself, then trace the wine country of Areni before the red canyon walls close in around Noravank. The first day ends in Jermuk, a high-altitude spa town built around mineral springs and its own dramatic waterfall. Day two turns toward Syunik, where the Shaki Waterfall gives way to the Wings of Tatev, one of the world's longest cable cars, carrying you over Vorotan Gorge to the fortified 9th-century Tatev Monastery. We close at Khndzoresk, crossing a 160-meter swinging bridge into an abandoned cave village carved into the canyon walls.
